Vivify offers a variety of professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers, teacher educators, and out-of-school time providers led by experienced STEM educators with classroom and real-world engineering experience. Texas Teachers: Vivify STEM is a TEA approved provider of continuing professional education. All Vivify trainings include a certificate for CPE hours.

Basics of STEM Education
Training for K-8th Grade Educators & Administrators
Learn the basics of STEM education including how to design a program using the 3 Stages of STEM. Participants will also learn how to teach the engineering design process, connect 21st century skills, integrate math and science concepts, and relate content to real-world careers and current events. Participants also receive access to 2 STEM lesson plans.

Engaging Students with STEM Careers
Training for K-12th Grade Educators, Administrators, Parents
Learn the basics of real-world STEM including engineering and science careers. Session covers how to connect student interests to STEM pathways, activities that promote interest in STEM, and strategies to integrate real-world careers and events. Participants also receive access 2 STEM career activities.

Hosting a STEM Family Event
Training for K-12th Grade Educators, Administrators, Parents
Learn the nuts and bolts of planning and hosting a school-wide STEM Family Night. Participants receive a STEM Family Night planning guide, instructions for 20 STEM activities, editable marketing materials, and event handouts to easily implement your own event!

Teaching STEM with Space Exploration
Training for 5-8th Grade Educators & Administrators
Led by an aerospace engineer and educator, the session covers how to implement STEM activities centered around space exploration. Workshop includes the Mission to Moon or Mars project guide where students research, design, and build a colony in space including engineering, architecture, and mental health elements. Participants receive a year-long space STEM curriculum and strategies for running an afterschool Space Club program.
